Architect - Victoria & Tasmania
Hi, I’m Tony — an architect with more than two and a half decades of experience, and someone who genuinely cares about helping small developers and builders get better outcomes with less stress. Clients often tell me, “Tony, I feel like you actually care,” and that means a lot to me. I listen closely, look deeply into the details, and solve problems fast so you can move forward with clarity.
In the early years of my career, I worked across both boutique and larger architectural firms — from designing high-spec homes with Ron Sang in Auckland, to delivering school projects across the State of Victoria with Oaten Stanistreet Architects. Those roles were the perfect training ground: small enough to stay hands-on with clients and boards, yet large enough to learn how projects really get built on site.
Later, I spent ten years delivering major capital works at the City of Port Phillip — an environment where precision, documentation quality, and zero-shortcut thinking are non-negotiable. That decade gave me something most architects never see: a deep understanding of how councils think, how assessors interpret rules, and what authorities need before they say “yes.”
Along the way, I also invested my own money into several townhouse developments. Those real-world experiences — the risks, delays, builder issues, financial pressure, and a few hard lessons — shaped the way I practice today. They taught me exactly where the traps are, because I’ve stepped on them myself. And because of that, I design and document with one mindset: keep you out of trouble before trouble even starts.
Today, I help small developers, builders, and homeowners design smarter, build easier, and navigate the approvals process with far less friction. Whether it’s aligning your vision with planning rules, improving yield, simplifying construction, or preparing clean drawings that builders love, my goal is simple: save you time, money, and worry — and help you make confident decisions at every step.
